Gaurav College of Education, Jaipur, started in the year 2008, is a coeducational affiliated college situated at Chomu, Jaipur district of Rajasthan. The college occupies a very small plot of land of 1 acres and trains teachers, having a bachelor of education programme (B. Ed.). This-varsity has a total of 190 students and the faculty at this college comprises 17 members which make a good student-teacher ratio-possible suitable attention for each candidate teacher.

Also for the need of the female students, the college has a girl’s hostel with the capacity of fifty students with twenty five rooms containing amenities/ recreational halls. Some facilities include; different laboratories, an event and seminar hall, and student and staff canteen. It is equipped with both indoor and outside play areas where lovers of sporting activities can indulge in and these are football field, badminton, volley ball, cricket etc..
Gaurav College of Education currently offers one full-time course: the Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) programme, however here it becomes a prerequisite for entry into this programme. The college has its own hostel, which has a capacity of 25 rooms and 50 student,s with Recreational facilities including sports and games, and health and hygiene facilities available in the Hostel.

The college has a library facility for all students. The college has a huge, computerized, and maintained library with an area of 1400 Sq.ft. accommodating a separate reading facility for teaching faculty, staff & students with comfortable sitting arrangements of 100 students. The college has a Wi-fi internet facility for the Digital Library and provides e-journals & e-learning. Our college library has a huge collection of text & reference books, 6563 books. 15 Indian Educational Journals and 05 International Journals are subscribed to in the library. It facilitated magazines, newspapers, journals & periodicals to engage the students and faculty with the Education system. The library stock and services are being computerized on the Online MIS software for the library. The library has a quality Xerox, Internet facility, Drinking water facility for the students & Staff functional internet terminals, and 50 off-line learning CDs, and DVDs as digital resources. There is adequate space for self–reading, reference services, and circulation are provided in the reading room where the students enhance their knowledge by reading books. A conducive environment for studies is created in the reading room.
