Faculty of Dental Sciences, PDM University, Bahadurgarh, is established since 2006 and in the state of Haryana, India. The college is co-educational and accredited with NAAC, providing various dental programs approved by the DCI. The faculty residence in a 5-acre campus and houses a total enrolment of 388 students while employing a faculty strength of 100. 

The institute has a host of facilities that allow students to study in comfort. Hostel facilities for both boys and girls are well-furnished and properly fitted with modern conveniences like water coolers, geysers, and air coolers. It has a state-of-the-art central library housed in an imposing three-story building, serving as the knowledge template for the students and the staff. It also has state-of-the-art IT infrastructure with over 3200 high-end computers and campus-wide Wi-Fi connectivity. There are facilities for physical well-being through a 700 sq ft gymnasium and several sports facilities. The campus also has a health centre, cafeteria, and auditorium for an overall student experience. 

Faculty of Dental Sciences offers a total of 9 courses at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels in dental sciences. The undergraduate program at the flagship level is the Bachelor of Dental Surgery with an approved intake of 100 students. At the postgraduate level, the institute offers various programs in Master of Dental Surgery with an intake of 3 students each. These specializations are Conservative Dentistry; Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery; Oral Medicine and Radiology; Oral Pathology and Microbiology; Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics; Pediatric and Preventive Dentistry; Periodontology; and Prosthodontics and Crown Bridge. 

The basis for admission to the Faculty of Dental Sciences is national-level entrance examinations. Admissions to the BDS course are made on the basis of National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET-UG). MDS courses, admission is based on the merit of the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test for MDS (NEET-MDS). Such kinds of standardized tests provide a fair and competitive selection for achieving dental science studies by the desired students. It accepts applications from across India.

The Faculty of Dental Sciences has been established in PDM University, Bahadurgarh, and has launched an excellent, established admission procedure for dental studies. The faculty is accredited by NAAC and recognized by the Dental Council of India (DCI), hence offering both undergraduate and postgraduate courses in dental sciences. The admission to the Faculty of Dental Sciences is through the national-level entrance tests, and selection will be very impartial and competitive for students aiming to pursue dentistry in India. The cycle of Faculty of Dental Sciences admission is synchronised according to the schedule of the national entrance exams. The admissions regarding Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) are held through the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET-UG). NEET-UG usually begins in February with an examination of the same conducted in May, followed by counseling sessions after the results are announced in June.

The postgraduate courses (MDS) will be based on NEET-MDS for admissions. The NEET-MDS application process almost always starts in February, while the examination takes place during March. Results usually come out by the end of March or early April, after which counseling starts. Eligibility criteria for BDS include completing 10+2 in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as main subjects along with English.   • Boys Hostel

    The college maintains eight well-furnished hostels (4 for boys) with all the modern facilities like water coolers, geysers, television, telephone, and air coolers for the students.

  • Girls Hostel

    The college maintains eight well-furnished hostels (4 for girls) with all the modern facilities like water coolers, geysers, television, telephone, and air coolers for the students.

  • Medical/Hospital

    The college has a health center with a first aid facility for the students.

  • Library

    The college has Welcome to the Central Library at PDM Group of Institutions, A well-stocked Library was established in the heart of the PDM campus in 1999 for the benefit of students and staff. The state-of-the-art Central Library is housed in a three-story building. The library remains open on all working days from 9 A.M. to 5 P.M. Books are well-furnished from 9 AM to 3 PM. The total staff members working in the library are nine.

  • Sports

    The college has students are encouraged to participate in various sports. They have made us proud with their achievements. The students are sponsored to various inter-college sports/ cultural/ literary activities. Games facilities like Football & Volleyball are being regularly provided. A gymnasium with all modern facilities has been constructed which is equipped with imported machines and comprises of all indoor games such as Table Tennis, Badminton, Billiards (Pool Games) etc.

  • I.T Infrastructure

    The college is equipped with sophisticated computer labs with more than 3200 high-quality Intel Core i3/i5/i7/Core 2 Duo machines from HP/ Compaq/ IBM. Facilities like printers and scanners are provided in every computer lab. All computer labs are air-conditioned and are connected with 24-hour. Internet facility with dedicated 250 Mbps 1:1 bandwidth. PDM provides its students with the opportunity to remain connected to the outside world with its unified wireless communication network spread throughout the campus. With over 100 Access Points providing smooth wireless Internet connectivity, the campus is India’s one of the most advanced technical campuses.

  • Cafeteria

    The college has An Air-conditioned cafeteria with modern facilities where fresh and hygienic eatables are served.

  • Auditorium

    The college has an auditorium facility for events and seminars.

  • Transport Facility

    The college has a very good transport facility supported by a fleet of more than 125 buses running on more than 100 routes across different cities within a radius of about 50 km. The institution provides transportation facilities to students coming from New Delhi, Gurgaon, Sonepat, Rohtak, and other nearby areas.
