Dr. Daulatrao Aher College of Engineering, Karad is one of the well-known institutes established in the year 2008. It is an affiliated college spread over a campus area of 10 acres at Vidyanagar Extn. Banawadi, Karad, Maharashtra. DACOE has been chosen with a focus on quality delivered in its working, as reflected through accreditation by NAAC and approval from AICTE. The college proudly show cases all modern facilities to improve the learning experience of its students. The library, being a great space of academic resources, has more than 17,000 printed books related to various disciplines, along with different national and international journals, magazines, and a huge collection of digital resources comprising CDs, DVDs, and NPTEL video lectures from IIT. As for the hosteling facility, DACOE separately maintains boy’s and girl’s hostels with the capacity of 50 and 100 students, respectively, assuring a safe and compatible atmosphere to study. The infrastructure with regard to sports facilities is also up to the mark and includes both indoor and outdoor facilities for various games like cricket, football, basketball, and athletics. In order to keep pace with the technological demands of current education, the college has a very strong IT infrastructure. Besides, a well-spaced cafeteria having a variety of food items on reasonable rates is available, which helps in developing a well suited atmosphere among students and the staff.
DACOE offers four full-time B.Tech programs, each for a period of four years. These programs are in the principal disciplines of engineering: Mechanical Engineering, Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, and Civil Engineering. Every course has an approved intake of 60 students, thereby making a total of 240 seats in all the programs combined. The core engineering branches in this institution therefore represent its commitment to the development of skilled professionals with a view to meeting industry demand.

I am studying in my final year of college at Dr. Daulatrao Aher College of Engineering, Karad. My experience for the past three and half years has been amazing and still counting on it. The college infrastructure is mesmerising starting from the college entrance to each and every classroom and laboratory. Considering the campus, huge area which includes the college building, playground, library, hostels, canteen contribute to the wholesome experience and inspire students to go to the college. All the classroom are always neat and clean, laboratories for different branches with specialized equipments regarding the field are available. Classrooms have smart boards and projectors and WiFi connection. College canteen serves good quality food with hygiene. The sports section has all the required facilities and the hostels are good too.

- Boys Hostel
The college has a boys’ hostel facility which provides good hostel accommodation for the students. The college boy's hostel accommodates 50 students. Stringent security and discipline norms are induced to avoid any ill elements entering the campus. Hostel Staff staying in each hostel building helps to maintain the study atmosphere in the hostel campus. The hostel provides a separate facility for boys. However, students are also free to make their own arrangements for any festivals.
- Girls Hostel
The college has a girl's hostel facility which provides good hostel accommodation for the students. The College Girl's hostel 100 female students can be accommodated in the lady's hostel. The College Central Library has open access for all to over 17000 Printed Books, National and International Journals, Magazines, CDs, DVDs, NPTEL video lectures from IIT, Bound Volume of Journals, Project Reports, Newspapers, and Database in Engineering and Technology, Humanities, Science and Social Sciences. The library continued to offer its services to all students, teachers, and other users.

The college has sports facilities for all students. The college has a sports infrastructure that comprises facilities for indoor and outdoor games. There are well-groomed outdoor playfields for Basketball, Cricket, Football, Kho-Kho, Kabaddi, Basketball, Volleyball, Handball, Athletics, etc., and indoor playfields for Table tennis, Chess and Carom for boys and girls.

The college has an excellent IT Infrastructure facility for the students.
- Cafeteria
The College has a spacious cafeteria facility on the college premises and is run by college management. A variety of food and snack items are provided to the students and staff of the college at highly reasonable rates with the highest quality. Our college cafeteria is blessed with family atmosphere, with a variety of delicacies, touched by a homemade flavor, cooked to perfection and served with a great courtesy. Refreshments are available at the college cafeteria at affordable rates. Adequate seating facilities are provided to accommodate students and staff even during peak time.

The college has One special Auditorium that has provided for sessions and conferences with an awesome feeling of comfort. 2. It has a great sound system. 3. Large seating arrangement, near about 230 seats. 4. There are Projector and wireless microphones supplied for video conferences and lighting arrangements with good elimination.

The college has a departmental based laboratory facility for the students.

The college has a Roofed parking facility for vehicles at the designated place available in a college campus area. This facility is available for both students and staff members. A capacity of approximately 400, 2-wheeler vehicles at a time can be parked is parking slots available in the campus area. There is the provision of parking of approximately 100, 4-wheeled vehicles in the campus area.
