- Training and Placement Cell
Under the auspices of OHEPEE, Govt. of Odisha, a meeting on “Placement Awareness” was held in the smart room of the college at noon on dt 21.03.2022. 99 (ninety-nine) nos. of students from +3 final year Arts, Science, and Commerce streams have participated in the meeting. Prof. Bailochan Padhihari, Reader and Head, Dept of History presided over the meeting. Prof Nigamananda Biswal, Reader and Head, Dept of English briefed the students about the procedures to follow for placement drive in the college. Through his talk, Nodal Officer, Placement Cell, Prof Arabinda Kumar Mohanty, Reader in Zoology, made the students aware of the various placement avenues open for the students in the college and the programs to be conducted in the future. Prof (Dr) Sasmita Samal, Dy Co-ordinator, IDP extended the vote of thanks and the meeting was dissolved.
- Extra Curricular Activities
The College has an N.S.S that has been introduced in the college since 1979. The college has three units. Students are advised to join the N.S.S and avail themselves of the chance to serve the country. A student volunteer completing 240 Hours of work during two years of undergraduate study is entitled to an additional weightage of 20% of the mark during admission to the graduate class.
