Vellanikkara’s College of Co-operation Banking and Management, was founded in 1981, is also a constituent college placed in Thrissur, Kerala. This specialized institution has four special programs organized in the areas of cooperation, banking and management. The physical facility area of this college is 5000 square meters and it covers 0.5 acres of campus area and it maintains the total enrolment of 223 and offers 7 faculty members. To support and complement its population’s learning needs, the college offers multiple amenities. It has a collection of 18,000 titles in cooperation, banking, management, economics and social sciences besides having subscription to leading Indian as well as International journals. Some of the Facilities and Services provided by the centre include photocopying, scanning and computer systems with internet connection. The IT infrastructure is also sound, which is equipped with forty PCs having Internet facilities and having legal based software’s like MS Windows XP, MS office, India stat, SPSS and tally. To facilitate a practical experience, the college has provided Agricultural Lab and a Language Lab for the students where they are exposed to real life experiences of the fields of agriculture and language respectively. The college also has an auditorium that they use to host up to 500 students, for different academic and cultural activities.
The College of Co-operation Banking and Management has total four courses all the courses are full time. These are one undergraduate course as B.Sc Cooperation and Banking Hons, two post graduate courses including MBA, Agribusiness Management and M.Sc Cooperation and Banking and Ph.D Rural Marketing Management. The MBA Agribusiness Management has an approved intake capacity of 40 student, the intake capacity for the other courses is not mentioned here. These specific courses include those that provide students with practical knowledge of cooperative sector, banking and management of agri-business industry.

- Library
The College has a library that houses books related to cooperation, Banking, Management, Economics, and Social sciences. The College Library carries around 18000 titles including classics in all disciplines covered in the curriculum and subscribes to leading Indian and Foreign journals. It has also a knowledge-enriched collection of valuables; The library is equipped with photocopying, scanning, and printing facilities, five computer systems with an internet facility, and audiovisual media support. The working hours of the library are 10 Am to 5 Pm. The library can occupy twenty-five persons at a time. We have an Online Public Access Catalogue (OPAC), developed by using the open-source library automatic software, KOHA. TURNITIN software is available for detecting Plagiarism.
- I.T Infrastructure
The College has an excellent IT Infrastructure facility for the students. In order to empower students in advanced ICT, computer applications have been made a part of the curriculum since 1995. Besides regular courses, the students are encouraged to use computers for Practical Assignments, Project work, presentations, and Research work. The Computer center houses 40 personal computers with an internet connection and a server to cater to the needs of the students and faculty. All the machines are linked to LAN. The Computer system is equipped with licensed software like Microsoft Windows XP, MS Office, India Stat, SPSS, Tally, etc.
- Auditorium
The College has an Auditorium that can accommodate around 500 students which is used for all kinds of recreation facilities and various events of student union activities, and other functions of the college as well as the University. College Auditorium has established in the year 2000. Central Auditorium is also used for an inter-collegiate and inter-University arts festival. In addition, the Auditorium is also used for the National & International Conference & Workshop of the College.
- Laboratories
The College has initiated setting up an Agricultural Lab at the College to provide practical training to some of the Agriculture and Agri-related Courses for the B.Sc (Hons.) C&B Programme. The Lab is equipped with one Laminar Flow Cabinet, Auto Clave, 10 Micro Scopes, Rocker Sprayer, Naspak Sprayer, Cono weeder, Tree Pruner, Petri Dish Culture, Conical Flask, Pipettpes, Bekers, Cylinder, PH Meter, Spirit Lamp, Herbarium Press, etc. The Agricultural Lab will be functional very shortly. The Lab will be elaborated as and when more ICAR Fund/other Funds is available to the College. The College has set up Language Lab to cater to the practical needs of courses like Engl 1101: Comprehension and Common Skills in English, Mmgt 1202: Fundamentals of Financial Accounting, and Cmgt 3108: Accounting and Auditing of Agri-Business Co-operatives. Apart from the normal practical sections of the English Course, the Language Lab will be developed as a KAU Centre for training the students for TOEFL and IELTS Examinations. Accounting is the language of Business. The Lab will expose the students to preparing journals, ledgers, and financial statements of business organizations with the help of various accounting software such as Tally and Digital Linguistic Mentor (DLM).
- Boys Hostel
The College has Hostel facilities provided to boys of the College. Boys are accommodated in a new hostel shared along with ACCER Students. Boys are accommodated in the newly constructed men’s Hostel (Sagar) in Vellanikkara Campus. Hostel facilities are provided to all MBA (ABM) boys at Scholars Hostel and Sagar Hostel of the University.
- Girls Hostel
The College has Hostel facilities provided to girls of the College. Girl students (UG) are accommodated in the girl's Hostel (SAGAR) attached to the College of Horticulture. The MBA students are provided accommodation in SAGAR as well as the scholar's hostel of the University. Farmers Hostel at Vellanikkara Campus of the University is renovated to accommodate girls' students of self-financing/cost-sharing courses. Girl students (UG) are accommodated in the Ladies Hostel attached to the College of Horticulture, Farmer’s Hostel, PG, and Ph.D. Girls Hostel is also provided. Farmers Hostel at the Vellanikkara Campus of the University is renovated to accommodate girls’ students of self-financing/cost-sharing courses. The MBA (ABM) girls students are accommodated at the Farmers Hostel.
- Sports
The College has students make use of the central sports & recreation facilities which include 3 grounds and 2 auditoriums (1-Central, and 1-College Auditorium). A room has an area of 200 sq. ft is provided for storing the sports items of the students of the college.
- Guest Room/Waiting Room
The College has guest house/waiting room facilities for visiting faculty and student family members.
- Convenience Store
The College has Student managed Store functions in the College that provides student requisites including a reprographic facility. Students get the twin advantage of having access to requirements at an arm-length distance along with gaining experience in running a small business.
