Chendhuran College of Engineering and Technology (CCET) was established in the year 2006 situated at Pudukkottai, Tamilnadu and is one of the renowned colleges in South India. This affiliated college located in a vast 23-acre of land has been showing constant improvement in the academic discipline of engineering. Affiliated by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC)and recognised by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTC), CCET provides a wide option of the engineering stream. The college offers, in total, 761 students enrolment and 119 faculties, that makes academic and personality development convenient.

The college has established advanced facilities for the improvement of the general learning environment. It is located with well furnished hostels for boys and girls with the scenic lawns in front of them. The school provides the student’s modern gymnasiums, an equipped library including study time, well-equipped laboratories corresponding to different branches of engineers. The college has a health care centre for its students and they are subjected to frequent checkups by a physician. CCET has in total 10 coursesat two different levels, the BE and ME programmes. The undergraduate programmes comprise of the following popular specialisations which are Computer Science Engineering, Artificial Intelligence and Data Science, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Civil Engineering. At postgraduate level, the college offers ME programmes in Computer Science and Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Structural Engineering and Communication Systems. 

CCET is objective when it comes to admittance of students into its institution therefore making its admission process strict. At the undergraduate level, the college offers admission based on certain standardised tests called the Common Engineering Entrance Test and Admission (CEETA). As highlighted in the admission procedures for ME courses, CEETA-PG undertakes postgraduate admission. This is important in assuring equal treatment to all the students so that those who have been denied an opportunity in an engineering college for one reason or another are given their shot at CCET.
