Bharatesh Institute of Technology, Belagavi, has recently started engineering undergraduate courses, for which admissions take place to screen deserving candidates from time to time. Bharatesh Institute of Technology admission will follow the multi-channel approach as it admits both government quota seats and management quota seats.

Three admission channels are followed for the year 2024 in BIT Belagavi.

• Government Quota (45% of seats): Admission is through Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) conducted by Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA), Bengaluru.
• Management Quota (30% of seats): Admission is through the Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka Under Graduate Entrance Test (COMEDK UGET) conducted by KUPECA, Bengaluru.
• Direct Admissions (25% of seats): Candidates can approach the management directly for these seats.

The admission cycle usually overlaps with the KCET and COMEDK UGET exam dates.

Eligibility criteria for B.E. programmes at BIT Belagavi:

• Passing of 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects, along with Chemistry/Biology/Biotechnology/Computer Science.
• Qualifying scores in either KCET or COMEDK UGET, depending on the quota under which the candidate is applying.

Bharatesh Institute of Technology Application Process

The application process for admission to Bharatesh Institute of Technology, Belagavi, differs with respect to the quota of admission.

• KCET seats for Government Quota: 
  • Apply for and appear for the KCET exam conducted by KEA, Bengaluru.
  • After the declaration of results, appear for the counselling process conducted centrally by KEA.
  • In case one qualifies, choose BIT Belagavi along with his/her preferred course at the counselling time.
  • The procedures and process for verification of documents as well as fee collection as per the KEA standards are to be followed.
• COMEDK UGET seats – Management Quota:
  • Registration and application for COMEDK UGET test
  • The COMEDK counselling procedure will be organised soon after the release of the COMEDK test results.
  • In counseling, take BIT Belagavi and any other course of study offered by the college, if any
  • Pay the admission fee as per the norms of COMEDK and the Institute.

Bharatesh Institute of Technology BE Admission Process

Bharatesh Institute of Technology offers four B.E. programmes, each with its specific intake capacity:

• B.E. in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (60 seats):
  • 45% seats through KCET (Government Quota)
  • 30% seats through COMEDK UGET (Management Quota)
  • 25% seats through direct admission
• B.E. in Computer Science and Engineering (120 seats): Admission process will be the same as AI and ML, with seat distribution based on the quota system
• B.E. in Electronics and Communication Engineering (120 seats): The Admission process and seat distribution will be the same as for the other programmes.
• B.E. in Information Science and Engineering (60 seats): The institute’s standard admission process and seat distribution will be followed.

For all B.E. programmes, the candidate has to qualify in either KCET or COMEDK UGET depending upon the quota applied for. The requirements for direct admission candidates should be obtained from the institute concerned.
