The Baba Sahoru Das Smarak Mahavidyalaya is an educational centre situated in Azamgarh, Uttar Pradesh and since its turning into reality in the year 2011, it has been a helping hand to students. This affiliated college approved by National Council for Teacher Education(NCTE) is dedicated in providing education in teacher training. Baba Sahoru Das Smarak Mahavidyalaya currently offers one main course: the Diploma in Elementary Education (D.EL.ED). This is a full time course that takes two years’ time and its main objective is to equip students with skills they need for teaching at the lower grades. Intake for this course in the college has been approved to admit 50 students as a measure to ensure that the college offers its students a favourable student teacher ratio.
