Baba Gajjan Das Balika Mahavidyalaya, Ghazipur

Baba Gajjan Das Balika Mahavidyalaya was established in 2013 and is an affiliated college at Jeval Saidpur Ghazipur, Uttar Pradesh. NCTE recognised this institution provides various education programmes mainly for women. At present, it has a total enrolment of 283 students and has 8 faculties that promote an intimate classroom setting. The institute grants three different degree programmes of B.Ed., D.Ed., and BA, which shows its focus on the teacher education field as well as the arts stream. 

Listed below is the available facility that has been developed in the Baba Gajjan Das Balika Mahavidyalaya in a bid to improve the college learning only for students. A good library is equipped with academic materials to help the students who are in their learning as well as research levels. For those who have a more active approach to leisure, the college provides an opportunity to play sports and even has its playgrounds and the equipment needed for that will help students become balanced individuals. The institution has also put in place adequate and well-equipped practical subjects laboratories to facilitate practical lessons. Also, the college is performing well in offering outstanding IT facilities; it has equipped the students for the IT-enabled future and has also endowed them with appropriate IT skills. 

The Baba Gajjan Das Balika Mahavidyalaya institution provides a total of three full-term courses of study across the respective disciplines. The B.Ed. and D.El.Ed. are both two-year duration courses having an intake capacity of 100 each for developing the teachers of the new generation. The BA programme completes the college’s offerings in the arts stream and is a three-year course.

The admission procedures are merit-based with an option for specific examination skills and qualifying marks of respective examinations/skills. The admission process for the B.Ed. and D.El.Ed. programmes is carried out in accordance with the policy of the state government/UT administration as well as the affiliated university.
