Arc Viswanathan College is a higher education college situated in Mayiladuthurai, Tamil Nadu which has been imparting education for young generation after its formation in 2000. Located at Sitharkadu, close to the Railway Junction, this has been one of the comprehensively accredited training centres to offer a wide list of courses to meet different career interests. Our college, ARC Viswanathan College, occupies a total of 6 acres offering the students a welcoming atmosphere for learning. The college today has a total student population of 326 students and faculty strength of 16 highly motivated teaching professionals, dynamic and committed to deliver quality education.

The following are characteristics of facilities offered by the college that will enrich the learning experience of the students. Thus, the library is designed to fulfill the roles of a source of knowledge since a student needs access to as many reference materials as possible for successful studying. For those who want to immerse themselves in sporting activities and health related activities the college provides sporting facilities to keep abreast with both academic and sporting activities. Basically, the auditorium is used for occasion and seminars, that help maintain active youth life on the campus. Embarking with the digital growth, ARC Viswanathan College always supports and enhance the standard of IT facilities for its student to overcome the technological future world. The college also have well equipped laboratory for practical and effective learning especially to the students undertaking science related courses. Besides, it is proud to having an active alumni association that fosters interaction between the current students and the graduates.

The college has a total of six full time courses functioning in different fields or disciplines to cater to the academic needs of the students. Included are degree programmes for the undergraduate and postgraduate studies to offer students a chance of further education and training. It caters a comprehensive programme education at college level in Arts, Commerce, Science and Computer Application- B.Com , BBA, BCA ,M,Com ,B.Sc and BA English.
