APS College of Engineering Bangalore is a self financing and an ISO 9001-2008 certified college that was established in the year 1997. Situated in Somanahalli, Kanakapura Road, Bangalore, the college is established in 60 acres of land. The institution is an affiliated college of the university and it recognized by the All India Council for Technical Education-AICTE and accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council-NAAC. These includes engineering programmes; the institute has taken 644 students in total while it has an authorized faculty of 55.

APS College of Engineering offers and has a number of amenities with an aim of improving the performance of the student in college and in life. The campus has two different hostels for male and female students with each of them housing about 150 students. It has well equipped rooms to provide accommodation for single; double and even trios types of occupancy. In terms of academics, APS Bangalore has Got DC Sky virtual digital library which contains numerous numbers of databases, e-journals, and e-books for our students. It also has functional laboratories for practical sessions in all departments of the college. For physical fitness and sports, the institute provides indoor and outdoor sport facilities such the proposed indoor stadium and multi-gymnasium. Students have been producing impressive performances in open tournaments sponsored by VTU at state and national level.

College Infrastructure
College infrastructure was quite average in my opinion. It had decent classrooms and desks but some of them are a little outdated. Some of the classrooms needed some renovation too but so far the infrastructure is just average.

The college is very huge and even very spacious, the classroom has a huge window so that we are comfortable with the atmosphere and even the library has all the books that are needed, even the canteen food is hygienic

I choose ECE as my graduation subject. As I thought electronics as a very tough subject in the beginning but we have the best faculty in our college who keep motivating and helping us in our studies. Every subject portions are updated from the VTU and are up to date. The education here makes us job-ready.

The College has an Indoor and Outdoor games facility, a reason for sports lovers to stay back after class hours. Our students have been regular achievers in the VTU sponsored open tournaments at the State and National levels, enabling them to participate in International Competitions.

The college has E-Learning has brought about profound changes the world over in the way people learn and train, allowing them to do it anywhere, any time. Through the web, a user can access content from any point, off or on campus, through a computer and connectivity. The web is being used for delivering more extensive content on a particular course.E-vidya comprises a video streaming server with 9 TB storage, this can be accessed across the campus network.

The College Canteen provides healthy and wholesome food to the students at a very affordable cost. The canteen has a varied menu that makes anybody hungry. The food prepared is hygienic and safe.
- Auditorium
The College has an air-conditioned state-of-the-art hall that acts as a common platform for an interface for students, faculty, and corporate personalities. It is in a theater-style setting with armchairs with folding tables. It has the capacity for accommodating 300 persons.
- Transport Facility
The college situated 26 km from the city is well connected by a fleet of new buses that pick up the students from all major residential areas of the city and drop them back after the College hours.
- Alumni Associations
The college has an Alumni meet "SANGOMA -2012" was conducted on 3rd March 2012, Saturday. It was organized to meet all the passed out students under one roof. It started by lighting the lamp by Mr. Hariharan(ECE 2001) & Mrs. Seemathini (ECE 2003).Prof. C P Sameera (Head Dept. of CSE, CSE 2002), gave a brief introduction about the college to the Alumni's and welcomed them.
