Located in a vast compound of 13 acres, AKM Polytechnic College currently has 4 diploma courses in engineering branches. It is a reference library containing over 11, 000 books on 1250 different titles, in addition to national as well as international journals in Engineering and Applied Science streams. Students can read e-journals and even use multimedia computer facilities for other reference information’s. Besides, the campus has spacious playgrounds for inter and intra college tournaments in games such as volley ball, football, cricket, badminton and hockey etc. AKM Polytechnic College takes adequate care of out-station students and provides them comfortable accommodation through boys and girls hostels. Girls hostel, situated close to the college, features homelike environment and will accommodate all the pupils.

The library is scheduled in such a way that the students get ample time to use it before and after class hours.
