The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has asked all affiliated schools across India to participate actively in Sewa Parv 2025. This nationwide initiative promotes selfless service, compassion, and community development among students and educators. In an official circular dated September 17, 2025, CBSE emphasized that schools must encourage students to engage in meaningful acts of service. These acts foster social responsibility and help strengthen communities.
Sewa Parv draws inspiration from Gandhi-ji’s values and the vision of a service-oriented nation. Therefore, the event integrates humanitarian principles into school culture. Moreover, it unites students, teachers, and staff to participate in social welfare activities. These activities focus on environmental conservation, health and hygiene, education for all, and support for underprivileged communities.
Objectives and Guidelines
CBSE encourages schools to:
