Delhi University Releases Schedule for Upgradation, Spot Admission Rounds

Delhi University has announced dates for Upgradation Round, Round-II of CW/ECA/Sports, Ward Quota, and Spot Admission Round. The schedule applies to undergraduate programs under CSAS (UG) 2025-26.

Key Admission Dates

Upgradation Round & Round-II Allocations

  • DU will declare upgraded allocations with auto-acceptance on August 22 at 5:00 PM.
  • Ward-II, CW-II, ECA-II, and Sports-II allocations will also appear on August 22 at 5:00 PM.
  • Candidates must “Accept” allocated seats between August 22 (5:00 PM) and August 23 (4:59 PM).
  • Colleges will verify and approve applications between August 22 (5:00 PM) and August 23 (11:59 PM).
  • Pay fees online by August 24 at 4:59 PM.

Spot Admission Round

  • Vacant seats display on August 25 at 5:00 PM.
  • Apply for Spot Round through your dashboard between August 25 (5:00 PM) and August 27 (4:59 PM).
  • DU will declare allocations on August 28 at 5:00 PM.
  • “Accept” the allocated seat between August 28 (5:00 PM) and August 29 (4:59 PM).
  • Colleges will verify applications between August 28 (5:00 PM) and August 29 (11:59 PM).
  • Pay fees online by August 30 at 4:59 PM.
Important Notes for Candidates
  1. Spot Round Eligibility: Only unadmitted CSAS(UG)-2025 applicants can join the Spot Round.
  2. Freeze Mode: Admitted candidates cannot withdraw after August 24 at 11:59 PM.
  3. Spot Round Application: You must select ‘Spot Admission’ on your dashboard. Choose only vacant Program+College combinations in your category.
  4. Mandatory Acceptance: You must accept any seat allocated in the Spot Round. Refusal forfeits your Delhi University admission.
  5. Final Allocation: Spot Round seats are final. No upgrades or withdrawals occur in Spot Rounds.
