Arafa Institute for Teacher Education has a well defined focus with only one course offered, the Bachelor of Education (B.Ed). This is a full-time course that takes two years to complete and the institute has an approved annual students’ intake for the course at one hundred students, in order to ensure that the institute can maintain the ratio of students to teachers to ensure that adequate learning takes place. Through the B.Ed programme the students are training to impart knowledge and skills as well as gaining the competence that is required to teach in the modern society.
