Silchar Polytechnic is one of the premier technical institutions in Silchar, Assam and was established in 1960. This affiliated college, with its campus of 36.9 acres in Meherpur, Silchar, Assam, has been shaping aspiring engineers for more than six decades with a spirit of excellence. The college has average facilities, infrastructure, there is laboratories but not good enough. We have sports center also. The classrooms are okay and the campus is medium in size manageable. Hostel is not provided and canteen food is good.

The silchar polytechnic college is situated in meherpur, it has all the infrastructure, facilities, and equipment. The classrooms have projector, and for practical all the equipments available. but there is no wifi, smart boards and all. There is a small ground where we can play. overall the campus is clean and tidy.

The college has all the necessary facilities, infrastructure and equipment. There are library, sports center, canteen, laboratories but wifi facility was not there. The living places are so clean and well maintained. Yes the food quality is hygienic.
