St. Ann’s College of Pharmacy, Chirala, was originally started as an affiliated college in the year 2007. The institute is located at Nayunipalli Village, Prakasam District, Andhra Pradesh. The institute was approved by PCI and offered undergraduate and postgraduate programs in the Pharmacy field. The college is located on a compact 1.2926-acre campus with a total student enrolment of 280 and a faculty strength of 25.

St. Ann’s College of Pharmacy College facilities range from provisions designed to enhance the learning experience and holistic development of the learners within the college. It has a state-of-the-art fully computerised and automated library, one of the basic learning resources. This library is well-stocked with a wide variety of books, journals, and digital resources, and it is also provided with an OPAC (Online Public Assessment Catalog) for accessing its database. It has well-equipped, modern laboratories, which are the principal functional units for practical learning and innovation on this campus. As far as student accommodation is concerned, the college has separate boys’ and girls’ hostels, which provide an excellent homely atmosphere with spacious, well-furnished rooms and modern amenities.

The courses available in St. Ann’s College of Pharmacy are a total of three, all full-time programmes. Courses include one undergraduate course, B.Pharma, and two postgraduate courses: M.Pharma in Pharmaceutics and M.Pharma in Pharmaceutical Analysis and Quality Assurance. The courses are designed in a manner so that students can get complete theoretical knowledge and practical skills in the concerned areas of the field of pharmacy.

The admission to the B.pharmacy. course, excepting NRI Quota, is through a State-Level Entrance Test called "Engineering, Agricultural Sciences, and Medical Common Entrance Test" (EAMCET), conducted by the Government of Andhra Pradesh. All eligible applicants have to qualify for the entrance test, EAMCET. The candidates will be admitted strictly by the merit secured at the EAMCET. The Convener of EAMCET admits the candidates based on marks secured in Intermediate or an equivalent examination and the rank secured in EAMCET.

National and International Journals & Periodicals in various disciplines of Engineering, cover the entire study spectrum. The Library is constantly updated by acquiring books & journals in different fields from time to time on the needs. Our College Library has a Digital Library network. The capacity can facilitate Teleconferences. The subscription also provides access to IEEE ON-LINE Journals and J-Gate - AICTE Online Journals. The library is rich with facilities and recommended volumes of all subjects both prescribed and recommended.

  • Sports

    The College has a Physically fit and mentally refreshed is a must for every student. The best way to make it happen is through sports. We have a sports center functioning to meet the needs of sports activities on the college campus. A large playground is equipped on the campus for Cricket, Hockey, Football, Basketball, and other outdoor games, as well as various indoor games, are provided. The training and facilities have helped St. Ann's in registering a victory in various competitions. "Sports Ustav" and District Level Tournaments are conducted periodically. Sports & Games are played every day after the last period (i.e., after 3.30 pm). The latest Equipment is provided for daily practice. Management of the college is approached for further development of Sports & Games activities like an Indoor Stadium, Tennis court, Expansion of the playfields, and a permanent building for the Physical Education Department near the playfield.

  • I.T Infrastructure

    The College has a campus that is equipped with a total of 900+ machines, all the client machines are Intel Dual Core and Intel Core 2 Duo Processor and connect to the Server. These Machines are loaded with Windows XP Professional / Linux and are connected to an HP branded. The majority of the schedules in the computer center are categorized for first-year students in the C Programming Lab, IT Workshop, and English Language & Communication Skills Lab sessions. Apart from the First Year, Second, Third, and Final Year Students' lab schedules C, C++, and OOPS using Java, RDBMS, UML, etc., are conducted here.

    The College has to make sure that the students get fresh, hygienic, and delicious food every day. The canteen serves nutritious food with a vivid variety to cater to the needs of students.
