Nursing School of SGHS College of Nursing offers an interesting and limited number of nursing courses to address the current need for professional nurses. The institute provides three full-time courses: The programmes are named as B.Sc Nursing (four years), Post Basic B.Sc Nursing (Two years), and General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) which is of Three years duration. Such programmes are intended to provide the students with complete theoretical knowledge supplemented with practical experience necessary for a proper nursing practice. In total the college has been granted permission for 120 students to be intake for any of the courses offered, there are 50 for B.Sc Nursing, 30 for Post Basic B.Sc Nursing and 40 for GNM.
