Students who are sports enthusiastic can utilise the sports facilities of the college, and the institute has another unique feature of providing NCC training on campus since the last 64 years. The college has been 2 separate libraries offering services to both UG and PG students the UG library was built in an area of 5858 sqft and the PG library is in an area of 2120 sqft the library has a total collection of 62575 books out of which 17517 are for PG and 45058 are for UG students. The library subscribes to 83 journals, out of which 7 are foreign journals and 4 are online journals. The working hours are from 9 am to 6 pm on all working days and 9 am to 1 pm on holidays. The library is partially automated with EZ Library software and has photocopying and internet facilities.
- Sports
The College is the only college in the surrounding districts to offer NCC to students on campus. This has been done since 1957, last 64 years. The college has been representing RDC and TSC regularly at the national level and also in the NCC Sports. We have 150 NCC cadets representing the college at any point in time over the last 64 years. Presently intake of NCC cadets has increased to 160 cadets from the academic year
