Fakhruddin Ali Ahmed Medical College and Hospital, or FAAMCH, is the medical college established in the year 2011 and has its location at Barpeta, Assam. A campus hospital is attached with facilities for training, and proper treatment is also given to students. Central Library: The campus is constructed on more than 2000 sq m, which houses thousands of medical books in a collection form that’s regularly upgraded to help meet student’s demands. Intracollege sports facilities. Excellent IT Infrastructure: The college has a huge lecture hall accommodating more than 250 students at a time and serves as a multipurpose hall for college events. In addition, a permanent 500-700 capacity auditorium is under construction.
FAAMCH offers all the courses in medicine from the undergraduate to postgraduate levels. It has 10 courses with MBBS being its flagship undergraduate programme. Courses available at postgraduate level are MD and MS in General Medicine, Paediatrics, Pathology, Anaesthesiology, Radio Diagnosis, Microbiology, Biochemistry, General Surgery, and Obstetrics and Gynaecology.
