Bharat School of Pharmacy at Hyderabad is known as BIT Hyderabad which is a prominent and reputed institution for the education of pharmacy. This affiliated college was established in 1999 and is situated in Mangalpally Village, Ibrahimpatnam Mandal, Ranga Reddy District of Telangana state. It is an AICTE ‘- Approved and PCI ‘-Recognised Institute to offer quality education in the field of pharmacy. BIT Hyderabad has 293 enrolled students and spread its campus over 120 acres offering various pharmacy courses to its students. For academic human resources, there is a faculty strength of 52 members, so classroom and tutorial consolidation is easily possible with first-class student faculty ratio.

Bharat School of Pharmacy, Hyderabad has basic amenities required to support its academic courses and also keep the students motivated for their learning sessions. It has adequate laboratories for the various branches of pharmacy such as Pharmaceutics, Pharmacology, Biotechnology, Medicinal chemistry, Pharmaceutical Quality assurance and analysis, Pharmacognosy and Pharmacy Practice. These include a central instrumentation room for training and practicals in research and advanced technology. The college library is located at the heart of the Academic Centre of Excellence and provides access to valuable books and journals, both regular and electronic. Regarding physical fitness and recreation, there are a gym and facilities for physical activities in form of indoor and outdoor games. It also provides canteen, seminar hall, and transport to fulfill the needs of the campus students.
BIT Hyderabad being a Pharmacy College provides all the pharmacy courses at the UG and PG levels. The institute offers 7 courses in 3 courses programmes all of which are on full time mode. The B.Pharma course has the total intake of 60 seats while the Pharm.D. course has the total intake 30 seats. At the postgraduate level, specialisation offered in M.Pharma are Pharmaceutical Analysis, Hospital and clinical Pharmacy, Pharmaceutics, Pharmacology, pharmaceutical chemistry and many more. A Pharm.D Post Baccalaureate programme is also available for all the ten seats. These diverse programmes meet different needs of the pharmaceutical sciences focus, giving students numerous chances to target their pharmaceutical sciences focus region of curiosity.
BIT Hyderabad accepts students mainly on the basis of the entrance examinations conducted at the state and at national level. For the undergraduate programmes such as B.Pharma and Pharm.D. Admissions are done through the Telangana State Engineering Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test (TS EAMCET). The counselling process is cyberspace based and the seats are filled according to the ranking which the student gets in TS EAMCET. For postgraduate programmes the admission are through Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test (GPAT) & Telangana State Post Graduate Engineering Common Entrance Test (TS PGECET) rankings. The distribution of the seats is such that 70 percent of students get admitted through these entrance and 30 percent are of management quota. The college also reserves admissions policy as per the state government norms and regulations.

The college has a well-established medicinal plant garden available in an area of about 200 sq. mts. The objective of establishing this garden is to maintain a conservatory of the most common and important species of medicinal and aromatic plants that are being used in day-to-day primary health care.

The college has Library is an integral part of our Academic Centre of Excellence for Teaching and Learning. This COE is designed to assist multidisciplinary curriculum and concept-centric demonstrations concerning practices and programs that promote teaching and learning skills among faculty and students, and to research to improve innovation Many new dimensions have been added to the library. Electronic information resources as an important component of the library in growing year after year. The computer has swept the library in all it is storage and dissemination of information. The college is satisfied with the achievements of the library.

The College has a well-established canteen for the faculty and students, with a healthy and safe environment. The food quality is good and hygienic. The canteen contractor hires an adequate number of catering staff for the smooth and efficient running of canteen services. The food items are stored in a clean and hygienic place. The prices of all items are very economical.
- Auditorium
The college has a well-established seminar hall with a sufficient number of seating capacity. The seminar hall is designed with an LCD projector, white screen; air-conditioned system, and a speech desk. The seminar hall also has a computer with an internet facility and is equipped with a good sound system. Programs including student seminars, guest lectures, personal development classes, campus interviews, project presentations, paper presentations, visitor interactions, etc. are all organized at the seminar hall. The seminar hall also has good lighting and a proper ventilation system.
- Transport Facility
The College has an Excellent transport facility with a fleet of 45 buses touching all corners of the city. A full-fledged Transport department functions in the college with buses to provide transport facilities to students and staff from various places at competitive rates. This service is offered ensuring hassle-free and safe transportation. 35 college buses help the students & staff to commute to the college from various places, especially all remote areas. The number of buses will be increased corresponding to the increase in the intake of students.
- Laboratories
The college is well equipped with laboratories and equipment to give the students hands-on training in the field of Pharmacy. The college has an excellent laboratory setup to ensure experiential learning for a better grasp of the theoretical aspects of Pharmaceutical Sciences.
The college has an adequate number of well-equipped labs for undergraduate and postgraduate programs in all the major areas of pharmacy. The labs are well furnished and designed to permit students sufficient working space. All security measures have been put in place to assist in case of emergencies.
The college has been continuously updating and upgrading instruments necessary for cutting-edge technology. Instruments have been purchased through funds from the management and grants from various funding agencies.
Other than working laboratories the college also has a Central Instrumentation room where common instruments as well as instruments requiring air conditioning are kept. Each instrument is operated through a SOP and a log book for each instrument is maintained for efficient functioning. To provide the instrument with a non-fluctuating power supply college has installed huge stabilizers and sturdy power connections.
The primary focus is always laid on skill enhancement and inculcates the culture of research to solve emerging challenges toward a successful career ahead. State-of-the-art Pharmaceutics, Pharmacology, Biotechnology, Medicinal Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Quality Assurance and Analysis, Pharmacognosy, Pharmacy Practice, Human Anatomy and physiology, Computer and Language Lab and other laboratories supported by advanced instruments and well-trained technicians provide opportunities for learning by practically performing the experiments.

- Guest Room/Waiting Room
The college has guest house/waiting room facilities for visiting faculty and student family members. The College provides a common room for the boys students called the “Boys’ Common Room”. Another common room provided for the girl students is called as the “Girls’ Common Room”. The Students’ Common Room is a place of resort and relaxation for the students during their leisure time. A Lecturer nominated by the Principal shall remain in charge of the Boys’ Common Room. A lady Lecturer, nominated by the Principal shall remain in charge of the Girls’ Common Room. The Common Rooms shall remain open on all working days from 10.15 A.M. to 4.15 P.M. Newspapers and magazines are supplied to the Common Rooms for use by the students in their leisure hours. A few indoor games are also provided for the recreation of students. A peon is attached to the Boys’ Common Room and a lady peon is attached to the Girls’ Common Room to look after the needs of the students. He and she are also directed to keep the rooms tidy and take care of the properties of their respective common rooms. Potable drinking water shall be supplied to the students in each of the common rooms. The Girls’ Common Room shall also be supplied with sufficient usable water. Students are expected to show gentle and friendly behavior in the common rooms. They should make proper use of the newspapers, articles, etc. provided to them. They should not shout & create unpleasant scenes or damage and disfigure the properties of the common room

The Motive of the placement cell is to act as a facilitator to arrange campus visits and coordinate the recruitment process of the prospective employers of graduating students of the college.
