People’s College of Paramedical Science and Research Centre affiliated to People’s University is situated in Bhopal (M.P.). Established in the central part of the Republic of India, its main focus is on the possession of high practice in the sphere of paramedical education. It has a rich variety of programmes; 13 courses are provided on 4 levels of degrees, serving different specialisation in the sphere of paramedical field. Currently, the college has 24 working faculty members who are professional academics in the respective fields to provide the best environment to the college’s students. People’s College of Paramedical Science and Research Centre has the necessary measures of advanced equipment for students’ effective learning process. A fully stocked library laboratory contains numerous textbooks and important references including physiotherapy, paramedical sciences, health, nutrition and first aid. Undergraduates have an opportunity to access a departmental laboratory to gain practical knowledge in their areas of specialty. More to that, the campus is Wi-Fi enabled and will facilitate students to have easy access to the internet resources. As for the accommodation, for female students, the college has boys’ hostel within the main campus facility with facility of modern amenities and bed space. Hostel also has the entertainment hall with LCN-TV, game facilities placed in indoors and reading room furnished with newspapers and light magazines.
The college has a wide list of programmes that are taken under the paramedical faculty. Out of the 13 courses offered the students can opt for the following diploma courses: Diploma in X-Ray Radiographer Technician, Diploma in Cath Lab Technician, Diploma in Optometric Refraction Technician, Diploma in Anesthesia Technician, Diploma in Dialysis Technician. For students who wish to further their education the college offers bachelor’s degree courses such as the Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT) and the Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Technology (BMLT). Also, the institution has more postgraduate programmes including masters of physiotherapy Master of Science in Physiotherapy in Neurological Conditions, Orthopaedic Conditions, Cardio-thoracic Conditions and Sport. Each course is a full-time programme; hence, students are offered a rigorous training of the education programmes set forth in the different fields.
