The college has a Central Library at NGI is a 6000 sq. feet facility for students to venture into the wealth of knowledge available readily at the disposition of experienced librarians and bookkeepers. The library currently houses a dynamic list of 13000 text and reference books of over 5000 titles, 24 journals, and 03 e-journal packages. With reading spaces and computers for e-learning, the library caters to inquisitive students till 08:00 PM (Mon-Sat) and serves as the backbone of the expanding horizons of education at NGI.

The college has Well-equipped laboratories that are a forte of every institute. NGI boasts over 25000 sq. feet of well-equipped laboratories, with instruments and apparatus that deal with every aspect of Pharmacy, Nursing, Allied Health, and a 10+2 practical curriculum; ensuring that every passed-out student carries forward a legacy of sound practical expertise in his/her field.

The NGI Annual Sports Week comprises various competitive events in which students take part to hone their athletic skills. The NEMCARE Group Premier League is one of the well-known cricket competitions in the region where numerous teams of various colleges take part. The playground is also the choice of Assam Science and Technology University for organizing their Annual Sports Meet every year.

The college's Transportation facilities for students and faculty members are provided by the NGI management via buses that ply to and from various parts of Guwahati.
