Government Degree College, Banjar (GDC Banjar) is one of pioneer college situated in Kullu, Himachal Pradesh. There is always an effort to purchase the latest editions of books to update the knowledge of students in various subjects. The library at present subscribes to twelve magazines, three journals, and four newspapers.

The College helps the students to understand the significance of discipline and competition through Sports. Moreover, sports build up the personality of sportsmen.
