The College Library plays a vital role in providing and nurturing young minds. It aids in learning and teaching activities. The aim of the library is to serve the needs of students. The library is a source of knowledge and wisdom The library has a vast collection of books. Besides, there are several national and international journals, periodicals, project reports, case studies, educational CDs, videos, etc. A regular and constant approach is maintained towards the enrichment of the collection of books from time to time.

The College Computer labs are well equipped with the latest Hardware and Software. It provides all the possible facilities for the students to make World Wide changes in Information Technology. Computer labs are connected with a high-speed LAN. Wi-Fi in the institute allows all students to access a range of services across our entire campus.

The College has a canteen facility for staff and students. This is a place to rejuvenate tired spirits through lip-smacking delicacies. The cafeteria provides much-needed appetizer breaks in a cozy atmosphere. Healthy and hygienic meals are available in the institute cafeteria. The cafeteria services are available round the clock at highly reasonable prices with a smile. In order to satisfy the appetites of the students and to give them a break after a day's hard work, the institute campus is provided with a relaxing and comfortable cafeteria.

The College has sports facilities for all students. With the belief "A Healthy mind in a healthy body", HIT forays into the sports arena. All facilities are available for sports. There is a Sports Department, functioning to ensure the needs of sports activities of all the Institutes on our educational campus. HIT has excellent recreational facilities for sports including Badminton, Table Tennis, Basketball, Volleyball, Football, Cricket, and Hockey. The College participates in most of the games, sports, and tournaments conducted by the University and has participated in many tournaments inside and outside Dehradun and has won many prizes. The students are guided by professional coaches.

The College has a health center with a first aid facility for the students. The Institute provides medical facilities to all its students. For providing comprehensive health care to all students and staff in a friendly and comfortable environment. HIT has tie-ups with the Hospitals of Dehradun for consultations, treatment & emergencies.

The College has an auditorium facility for events and seminars. HIT’s learning is not restricted just to the classroom. It is also internalized in the institute’s elegant auditorium, through various co-curricular activities, that form the core of student life. It’s on this dais that the latent talent of the students blooms by way of developing a sense of competitiveness, team spirit, leadership & creativity. The College has a transport facility for students and staff. HIT provides Transportation facilities for Students to various main locations of the City. The college has its own fleet of buses and vans that ply to and from various vantage points in the city. It is to facilitate easy travel for the students residing outside the college campus. The buses travel through the city and suburbs; routes are planned properly to be punctual and convenient for students. The students intending to avail of the transport facility need to inform the officer at the time of admission.

The College has a departmental-based laboratory facility for the students. HIT’s Science Labs, modern in style and content, is well stocked with equipment, instruments, and data. The labs offer a rich experimental atmosphere and support.
