The college has a home away from home with a parental touch, caring for comforts & nurturing maturity. The college has a separate in-campus hostel facility for girls. The rooms are spacious and well-ventilated. Recreation facilities have also been provided in the common room of the hostel. The Hostel Mess is provided with a water purifier, water coolers, and other necessary facilities. Special care is taken in the preparation of food under hygienic conditions in the Hostel Mess. Each resident is provided with a sun mica box-type bed, study table, and cupboards.

The college has Genetic engineering a laboratory technique used by scientists to change the DNA of living organisms. Genetic engineering is going to become a very mainstream part of our lives sooner or later because there are so many possibilities and advantages involved. Like 1. The disease could be prevented by detecting people/plants/animals that are genetically prone to certain hereditary diseases and preparing for the inevitable. Also, infectious diseases can be treated by implanting genes that code for antiviral proteins specific to each antigen. 2. Animals and plants can be 'tailor-made' to show desirable characteristics. Genes could also be manipulated in trees, for example, to absorb more CO2 and reduce the threat of global warming. 3. Genetic Engineering could increase genetic diversity and produce more variant alleles which could also be crossed over and implanted into other species. It is possible to alter the genetics of wheat plants to grow insulin for example. PCR Machine, UV visible Spectrophotometer, Water bath. BOD incubator, Autoclave, UV Transilluminator, cold centrifuge, vertical and horizontal electrophoresis units, etc. are present in the lab with the help of which such genetic engineering practicals are being carried out.
