The Directorate of Medical Education and Training, Uttar Pradesh (UPDGME), has officially announced the schedule for the second round of UP NEET UG 2025 counselling. Therefore, this round gives MBBS and BDS aspirants another opportunity to secure seats in government and private medical colleges across the state after they conclude the first round.
Official Notification Highlights
The UP NEET portal has posted the official notification. Accordingly, the counselling process for the second round will follow a structured timeline of online registration, document uploading, choice filling, and seat allotment. Moreover, only candidates who completed initial registration or withdrew/resigned in the first round can participate.
Key steps in the second round include:
First, UPDGME will release a fresh seat matrix before registration.
Next, candidates will complete online registration and document upload during the announced period.
In addition, candidates must pay the security deposit.
Then, they will fill and lock their choices within the given window.
After that, the authority will publish a merit list of eligible students.
