NEW DELHI, August 28, 2025 – The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has launched a new initiative to enhance student engagement in its digital outreach. Through a circular issued on August 28, 2025, the Board invited affiliated schools to submit CBSE student nominations from Classes IX to XII for participation in official podcasts and social media content. The move aims to make the Board’s digital communication more relatable and student-driven.
CBSE Student Nominations for Podcasts and Digital Media
CBSE already publishes podcasts on public platforms, focusing on academic guidance and counseling. With this initiative, the Board plans to involve students directly by including their voices, opinions, and experiences. Students can contribute through short audio or video clips, discussions, or testimonials on topics that affect them. This will add authenticity and expand the reach of the Board’s digital media efforts.
Schools have been asked to nominate articulate and confident students who are keen to participate. Each nomination must include a brief profile and the written consent of both the student and their parent or guardian. The nomination must be submitted via the prescribed Google Form within ten days of the circular. All participation will remain strictly voluntary.
The Board views CBSE student nominations as an opportunity for young learners to gain exposure on a national platform. Students will not only express themselves but also build public speaking skills, creativity, confidence, and digital literacy. Their participation may inspire peers and promote a positive culture of contribution across classrooms.
CBSE has urged heads of schools, directors, and educators to actively support interested students. The circular has also reached educational authorities to ensure widespread awareness. By encouraging student voices, the Board aims to make its digital content a true reflection of student perspectives.
Through CBSE student nominations, the Board reinforces its commitment to progressive reforms and student-centered communication. This step ensures that digital platforms not only inform but also inspire, amplifying authentic student experiences nationwide.
